Guide

I've seen a lot of people playing Maldamba as more of an offensive healer in recent weeks and figured I'd make a build for those players. Mostly because I keep slaughtering them as Damba is not a tanky hero by any stretch of the imagination.

Action Guide:
If your tank is successfully distracting the enemy on the objective, keep your gourd active on your tank's position. This will keep your tank's health up, weaken the effectiveness of enemy healers, and activate Feed The Spirits allowing you to keep up your skill rotations.

If you're being targeted, take cover immediately. Throw your gourd on the ground at your feet and hit any of your allies with Mending Spirits to activate Ritual Magic. At that point, it's up to your aim, your enemy's skill, and whether the ally you hit with Mending Spirits comes to help you. It doesn't sound like much, but those two skills alone give you a way better shot against most flanking heroes.

Card Guide:
(Legendary) Spirit's Chosen - You are still a support you know.
Many Gourds - Allows you to keep the gourds active on the objective.
Venomous Gourd - While this doesn't replace a rank 3 Cauterize, it definitely brings healers like Janus and other Dambas down a notch.
Sustenance - If you're playing this build, you're either playing offensively or want to be prepared to. This gives you some emergency assistance.
Feed the Spirits - Your gourd will produce eliminations to feed this card a lot more often than you'd think.
Ritual Magic - This is an emergency lifeline, you can also use Spirit's touch for another kind of lifeline.

Upgrade Guide:
Chronos 3 - I know Morale Boost seems tempting, but you have to keep those gourds active.
Haven, Blast Shields, or Resilience 3 - Haven if your primary opponents are direct damage, Blast Shields if there's a Dredge, Resilience if they have a blend with CC.
Life Rip or Veteran 3 - Alternate depending on your enemy. If you find yourself fighting a lot of slower targets, Life Rip will serve you better.
Cauterize or Wrecker 3 - Alternate depending on if your enemy. Fernando and Khan rarely expect to have both their shields and healing torn apart by an enemy support.

Please don't use this build in Team Deathmatch or I will find you and end you.
