Guide

PEDATION has to much value to not run. Even without the extra damage.
Street Justice is just to good not to use in rank. There are always two tanks and the extra damage is just not needed to kill anything with Maeve.

800 Damage the 30% puts it to 1040

Two Shots is 2080

3 shots of 800 is 2400

since a great many of the roster is above 2000 health you can only two shot a few champs. If they have taken damage then it can be viable. However if you are playing Maeve correctly then you really do not need that extra 240 damage for two shots, its just not worth the trade off of not having Street Justice which can ensure all kinds of kills. An Ulting Makoa only needs to be around 3000 HP to execute them.

Ash has to be below 1575 to kill her... Thats 1500 damage vs 240 x 2 and i have two pounces.
Even with low health champs 2000 health they need to be below 700 health.. It has more worth than Cat Burgler and unlike Cat its pretty hard to miss a pounce.

All that value and its not even the main value that comes from running Street Justice. The real value comes in watching a 1500 health tank run from you, or pop every skill they have to try and stay alive or watch the healer dive in to try and heal that tank before you kill them...They have to play around street justice with much more care. People have to pay allot of attention to you and that is the key to being a good flank. Just having street justice on the screen before the match even starts is a f$^% my life for any tanks on the other team. They start the round with i have to deal with staying above this thresh hold.... I cannot hold on to my skills and pop them at the last minute. I have to use everything much earlier.

This is why this deck is build around speed, you will be focused, hard focused so you have to play pretty smart. That is not something new for Maeve. Some people play her with damage reduction. I play her with extra health. Every time a lian blows her load on me and i escape with 100 health i am doing big things for my tanks.

1900 health to 2100 health is a pretty big deal for a champ that has such good dodging and escape skills.

Movement Speed , Prowl is pointless without level 3 chase... If your going to run PREDATION you need CHASE period....
SCAMPER has allot of value since you are pouncing allot as well as when you use your Prowl to run down and execute a tank you are almost always trying to run away and 30% Plus the 10% CUT AND RUN combined with 14% nimble 54% movement speed will get you out of allot of crap.

This is not a dive build, it has dive potential but it is not built for that. If you want a dive build you should go with damage reduction.
I play this as more of a tactical position build. I typically hold a lane and put enough daggers down that lane to prevent any one from really pushing it and if they do it to slow to have real value.

I like to annoy the off tank enough that they try to push me, normally if they are pushing that lane and able to push through my damage its because they have a healer. Once they get to the point where they are going to zone me out i make a decision.

1) I will prowl right by that tank and by the healer and start attacking the healer from the back side. This will cause the tank to one abandon the healer to push into my backfield or turn around and run back down that lane they just worked so hard to push through. The healer will either one use a skill to run away or they will push with the tank into the backfield running from me.

2) Second case is about the same thing but that same senario has a damage or flank pushing with them. If i see three people pushing a lane i will do enough damage to feel my presence and then move straight to point and put as much damage as i can on the tank. In hopes that i can get them low and exicute them before that flank arrive....

There are all types of ways to play this build and this is why it is my main build is that i can play allot of different rolls. If i need to dive i can, if i need to kill tanks i can, if i need to zone a lane i can.

There is a Death & Position Guide i have on the palainds forums if you want more detailed info on position which is the key to play Maeve well.
