Guide

With the emphasis of this loadout being on the silence from your right-click, the idea is to couple that silence with your rapid shot. Pre-Season Sha Lin had a similar but much more inconsistent combination: His base right-click would apply a knockback (instead of a cripple) and if the enemy you struck hit a wall they would get stunned, convenient for you to follow up with the old immobile planted to confirm the kill. This combination was not reliable however, as they’re were not many situations where you could use it. But with the new changes to Sha-Lin’s kit, he has much more versatility and freedom to implement the more reliable ‒ and deadly ‒ combination. If you can follow up quickly on a successful right-click, rapid shot will put away most champions with cards like Windwall to help confirm the kill. CD reduction cards like Skewer and Bullseye will help accelerate this combo. Shimmer and Poise are both interchangeable; I honestly prefer the flexibility Poise gives you on your aim when you’re tracking your right-click target as opposed to having the base movement speed from Wanderlust. Additionally, the sustain from Shimmer is something I just personally prefer over the raw health Swagger gives you. I think this is just another great variation of a loadout for the new-buffed Sha Lin. Despite the increased numbers of recurve, I think Desert Silence is his best legendary at the moment with the emergence of a mobile flank meta (Especially Koga, Zhin, and Andro). Staying in the backline with the healer can really stop flankers from having an impact if you can time this combination correctly.
