Guide

The only one good build to win (from 25 lvl Macuddles main)

1. EBB AND FLOW - must have for Makoa. Unfortunately it has been nerfad in comp after cards unbound (from 100% to 40%), but still viable. It will save your life many times. Example: you chase enemy using shell spin, hook them, receive a lot of damage and WITH THIS CARD youy can retreat, without it you will die.

2. STRONGARM - it's simple, use hook more to win.

3. ANCIENT RESOLVE - not obviously, but this card is perfect for Makoa. Enemies wait for your shield to disappear, but it doesn't! It's card for trolling, lul. In some cases this card also helps you to fall back safely and begin to self-healing - it's important! If your shield expires, enemies damage you and cancel your self-healing.

4. SALVAGE - it's not so must-have like somebody would say, because you can just reload your weapon manually before hook, but it's still viable and useful.

5. HARDEN (variant 1) - it's questionable. 10% damage reduction is not so much, but Makoa very often gets HUGE damage after he hooks somebody - especially if you play vs a good team. With this card (lvl 4) if you get 4500 damage (your full health), this card will mitigate it for 450 damage, and you have a chance to survive.

5. SURF (variant 2) - your default shell spin distance is often enough, but not always. This card can be useful if enemies have 2 flankers, so your backline will often be in trouble, and you will need to save your teammates. With this card you can quicker get to your teammates and save them from flankers.
