Guide

Welcome to this guide for everyone's favourite waifu YING, The Blossom.
My experience: ♡ I was one of verrrry few consistent Ying master players in season 1, and am currently sitting at diamond 3. I have a ridiculous amount of hours on this champion and therefore feel qualified in creating a guide to help you guys perform better with our underrated little elf.

Legendary? LIFELIKE! ♡ I've experienced a lot this last patch and it just seems like the best option in any given situation! Perhaps resonance on certain maps if you're running one tank, otherwise lifelike is the way to go. :)

♡ Cards ♡
Spring Bloom V: Due to placing lower points in squadron, illusions are likely to end up being destroyed after a few seconds of intense action during fighting. With this card maximised you needn't worry as you'll be able to place a new illusion - possibly in a better location too as teammates and enemies are constantly moving, often cutting themselves off from healing LOS without really realising so having a fresh illusion at your disposal assures more flexible and realible healing!
Encouragement IIII: My favourite card. During teamfights you'll constantly be gaining assists thanks to lifelike + the heal assist function that was implemented, meaning your illusion cooldown will constantly be refreshed, allowing you to spam and re-position your sisters to your liking!
Squadron II: You don't need your illusions to be super tanky thanks to the spring bloom card, but just enough so that they aren't destroyed before the 2.5 second mark. Anytime after that and you'll have an instant one at your disposal once destroyed! For people who would rather beefier illusions instead of the cd, here is my logic. I prefer them being destroyed eventually since illusion placement can be tricky and often not used to their full advantage as it means teammates have to play around a particular spot. Allowing one to die due to smaller health allows you a refreshed cd so that you can place one of your sisters in a better location!
Carry on II: All you need for constant up-time, ensuring you use them as soon as they're off CD!
Spring Forward II: I can't count the amount of times the extra 2 points in this card has saved my life. The extra time might not seem like a lot, but trust me a few extra calculated position changes can be the difference between life or death!

♡ WHY NO REWIND? ♡
I know many of you will be hugely confused by this. Don't worry, I was too when I first experimented with this deck, but trust me it works! If you're experienced with dimensional link then you honestly won't need the baby illusions to heal and can instead rely on your current deployed sisters to work their magic whilst you juke your opponents! *cue HEHE DID I TRICK YOU voiceline*

HOWEVER! If you are not experienced with dimensional link, replace with Rewind I and put the extra point leftover in squadron or carry on.

ITEMS! ♡
♡ Morale Boost: Ying's ult can be game-changing when timed correctly and chronos really doesn't have much of an impact on illusions thanks to Spring Bloom and Encouragement taking care of cooldowns for you. Always run morale, I can't stress this enough. Prioritise first unless you're dying a lot, otherwise opt for more points in shield haven!
♡ Shield Haven/Blast shields: Whichever you need versus the enemy damage dealers! Blast for blast champions such as Evie, Willo and BK, haven for champions that specialise in direct damage like Androxus, Lian and Zhin.
♡ Kill to heal! I love this card. Thanks to lifelike and the heal assist function i'm constantly reaping in assists and gain a ton of self-healing as a result of that, allowing my illusions to prioritise my teammates more!
♡ Cauterise: Ying can spread her ticks on various enemies, therefore applying the cauterise function to multiple opponents which can be super effective thanks to her spam and ability to damage whilst healing. I always opt for this unless my team need wrecker but foolishly all took cauterise. Prioritise this card 2nd UNLESS you need more defence, otherwise prioritise haven/blast or morale!
