BUILD
Magic in the Blood IV
This card is integral for the overall build, with Magic in the Blood you are able to reduce the cooldown of your chain significantly allowing for increased healing, ultimate regen, and damage reduction. For each shot hit with sigil you remove 0.4 seconds from your chain heal. Paired with Aico Forces you provide your team with consistent 4% damage reduction.
Refreshing Break II (Throwaway Card)
For every chain heal Refreshing Break grants your teammates 0.4% ultimate charge despite this number being relatively small it provides even further ultimate charge regeneration in tandem with Rei's ability spirit link, that provides 0.5% ult charge every second. With these two abilities combined you can provide your teammates massive amounts of ult regen!
Aico Forces IVRei is a very tanky healer, between her short burst heal cooldown, spirit link, and her ult that can instantly restores the HP of her and a teammate she's linked with to full HP she can be a forbidable foe and a powerful healer. For those who play point tanks or aggresive playstyles that like to be in enemy lines Rei can be very rewarding if played correctly. Aico Forces further supports Rei's tankiness by providing up to 16% damage reduction for 2 seconds, with no cooldown, every time you chain heal. This combined with Magic in the Blood and Chronos makes Aico Forces have a near 100% uptime!
Spring to Action IV
This card is pretty self explanatory but still a absolute neccesity as a healer while spirit linked with a teammate you heal an additonal 80 health every 1 second, thats 130 healing every second just for being linked with a teammate.
Future Generations I (Throwaway Card)As a healer you are constantly being focused by the enemy or tanking massive amounts of damage on the objective trying to keep your team alive. With this card you can take that damage and gain an additional chain heal, 16% damage reduction and 0.4 ult regen for free!
EXTENSION
Extension is by far the best Rei talent for this build, it allows you to heal low HP teammates from farther and increases the chance of gaining 16% damage reduction and further ult charge.
HONORABLE CARD MENTIONS
Enveloping Magic
Leipori Prayer
Arcane Focus
(If you wish to use one of these cards simply replace Future Generations or Refreshing Break)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ REI'S ABILITY OVERVIEW
CHAIN HEAL
Chain heal is Reis primary healing ability, it has a default cooldown of 4s and heals for 520 health per bounce with a maximum of 4 bounces. Spirit linked allies are healed for 676. Can be reduced to 2 seconds with max chronos.
ENVELOPE
Envelope is useful in instances when you or a teammate are very low health, countering Aoe ults, or when making a aggresive push. Envelope lasts for 3 seconds and during this period damage is capped at 275 max against you and a teammate you are spirit linked with it also does 20 damage every 0.2 seconds within a 8 unit radius. Keep in mind enevelope does not apply to a teammate if used before linking or after unlinking with them, Envelope will also remain on your spirit linked teammate for the 3 seconds even if you cancel yours. Envelope has a 14 second cooldown which can be reduced to 11 seconds with max chronos.
SPIRIT LINK
Create a tether between yourself and a teammate, healing them for 130 HP and generating 0.5% ultimate every second. You can also link yourself with a enemy, reducing their movement speed by 10% and dealing 50 damage every 0.75s. Spirit link has a range of 70 units, and a cooldown of 1s. Most Rei playstyles utelize Spirit link as either a pocket heal usually remaining tethered to one person the entire game or to provide faster ult charge for teammates with beneficial ults swapping between players to maximize ult recharge for your whole team.
VIVIFY
Rei and a teammate you are linked with recieve damage immunity for 2 seconds before being healed for 75% max of their max HP. Vivify can also be used without spirit link, and can refresh spirit link for 6s when it is about to break. Vivify is not affected by the ult generation of spirit link. Vivify should be used in near death situations, similar to envelope it is excellent at countering ults or if you are making a push and you or your teammate you are linked with is about to die. Save Vivify for situations it is absolutely required as if times correctly it gives you and a teammate a second chance while punishing the enemy team by wasting a ult.

ITEMS TO BUY
CHRONOS
Chronos should always be the first item you purchase in a match when playing Rei, it reduces the cooldown of Chainheal, and envelope, allowing for longer survivability and faster healing outfit.
MORALE BOOST
Morale boost allows for fast ult regen, despite Rei providing excellent ult regen to her teammates she herself does not gain the benefits of spirit link, meaning you want less time between your ults as they are crucial at the beginning and end of rounds when you are most likely to see a ult from the enemy team or excessive damage.
KILL TO HEAL
Kill to heal is crucial to ensuring you keep your health topped up between chain heals, because you do not recieve healing from spirit link all of your healing is done from chain heal bouncing off of you, or your ult, meaning between the 4-2 second cooldown of chain heal you have to try and tank as much damage as possible, kill to heal can help fill those gaps, for every enemy player you hit you can gain upwords of 900 healing so long as a teammate kills them.
HAVEN
Haven helps bulk up Rei even further, when not using envelope or chain healing as previously stated you are tanking the entire enemy team so having that damage reduction really helps survive between health bursts.
FILLER ITEM(S)
Illuminate, resilience, master rider, and bulldozer are all excellent items to invest in if the situation calls for them, if you are playing against Skye, Saati, Seris, or Sha Lin ALWAYS buy illuminate as soon as possible, their goal is to flank you and kill you without you seeing them, illuminate will help you be more prepared. Resilience and master rider are both items I reccomend buying if you arent fighting any of the previously mentioned champions as most champions in the game have some form of crowd control or slow, and in the event you do die master rider helps you get to your team faster. Bulldozer isnt nearly as crucial as illuminate, resilience, or master rider unless you are fighting a barik ying or inara; always be sure to destroy these champions deployables as they provide additional healing and damage to the enemy team that can interfere with your team killing them, as a support it is your job to support your team in more ways than one by taking out deployables for your teammates it allows them to focus more on their own roles.
