Guide

Hi there, welcome to Khan guide, this one is rather flexible, intended to use even if you're the only frontline to stay a while on the point, or to go off-tank and still be able to pressure.

Storm of Bullets talent is the standard talent for Khan, without it, he takes too long to deal dmg, unless you can headshot like 90% of your shots, you need this talent.

His ultimate is very usefull, but requires care when doing it, in the middle of the point will make the enemy focus fire on you, but near cover and throw anyone but flanks towards an off map area is great, flanks you're better off keeping them on your hand so others can kill it, last case scenario, throw somewhere that will take time for them to come back to the teamfight.
As for the cards:

- Close and Personal is imperative for Khan even though it doesn't look that effective, you see, when grabbing an enemy he gets stuck until flipped, but Khan also gets stuck for that duration which makes you vulnerable to dmg champions, this card helps you in surviving these moments, 3-5 points into it is enough to make it effective.
- Excessive Force sinergizes with the talent, becasue you're going to reload way too often without this card, you can add more points into it if you feel like you're losing dmg due to said reload.
- Hopeguard, this is the card that lets you go on the point, the shield is the way of preventing cauterize as well increasing healing received and you can pop it anytime you want, of course that is until you run out of shield bar, so keep moving around and take cover if needed, if you are struggling that much, get the Shield Wall card, but it's best to not just show your face to the entire enemy team with nowhere to properly retreat.
- Never Surrender! card is very imporant as Khan not just to self heal but your allies as well, and the best part: it makes you invulnerable for the duration of the battle shout, it can save you from ultimates and some CCs.
- Vigorous Defense is just a fair filler card, you already have battle shout for self healing but some of this passive healing helps you to not get poked to death.

Items:

First item: Cauterize, Nimble, Resilience, Rejuvenate, Illuminate
Cauterize: Standard buy for frontlines overall, you won't be able to kill enemy support or frontline without this at least on Caut 2, 3 is definitelly preferable.
Nimble: Khan's shield as a lot of good cards supporting it, however the shield doesn't have much health and can't protect him from shots from above, you want to avoid areas with height disavantage and especially champions with vertical mobility, fortunatelly majority of said champions are protectile, hence Nimble, it'll help you in killing enemies as well.
Resilience: as much as Khan has ways of preventing CC, if the enemy has like, 4 champions with CC including knockback, you may want this at least on Resilience 2.
Rejuvenate: another standard pick for frontlines, you want this eventually being either as 1st, 2nd or even 3rd item, but you want this as enemy scales with cauterize.
Illuminate: very opitional item, if you see 2 cloak champions like Skye/Sha Lin/Strix then it's worth it, but more often than not, they're not going to dive on you but your support/backline dmg.

Second item: any of the above
It's important for Khan to have control of the engagement, Haven/Blast shields actually comes later or completelly ignored unless you're really confident that your team can kill stuff.

Third item: Haven, Blast shields, Master Riding, Deft Hands
Haven: surprisingly optional in Khan's case, but if you're in doubt of what item to buy, Androxus is contantly poking you or something, you can't go wrong with this, and the only time it's wrong, it's when you're supposed to buy[...]
Blast Shields: [...] this item, Blast Shields is when Drogoz, Evie, or Dredge are giving you a lot of pain.
Master Riding: a very good item to make round openings and just get into position for the job really, super usefully when you're pushing the payload as well, you can even use this to setup ultimate.
Deft Hands: if there's a second frontline in your team then this buy is worth as you need to keep the damage, sinergizes well with the talent.

Fourth item: any of the above that seems needed for the match.
