Your Healing Potion goes through walls, and you can press Q again to activate it mid-air for teammates airbrone. Think creatively when using your potion to get the most heals off. You can shoot the wall/ceiling/ground around your ally to heal them with your blaster. Practice air shotting because that will make your heals pop off too.
