Ash is definitely my favorite champion, she has the most hours played. This is a set I can trust for practically anything.
Castle Forged (4): Brings the cooldown of Kinetic Burst down to 4s instead of 6s. Ash is all about knockback, so this is important.
Siege Engine (5): Siege Shield has a pretty long cooldown, so this helps a lot as long as you're fighting someone close up.
Battlement (2): This increases the time Siege Shield is up to 7s. Most teams I face don't break the shield before time is up (when using Fortress Breaker), so it's nice having it up a bit longer to avoid getting hit longer. You could alternatively use Ramparts here, or even Gate Crasher if Shoulder Bash is more important to you.
War Machine (3): I just feel like this type of card is necessary for any champion who has it. It really does help.
Heavy Metal (1): Just to fill space. Ash already has pretty high health, so I didn't feel the need to put more into this.
I don't put anything into Shoulder Bash in this set because it takes away space for other things I find important. I have another set for this while using Battering Ram.
I do have a Lifesteal set, but I very rarely use it because most people get cauterize. This set has been more reliable.
