Guide

Hi there, welcome to Corvus guide, this champion is quite easy to use and one of the "meta" support champions, very nice to play with but he's quite overrated along with Jenos and Io, selling point being that he can heal allies across the map due to his mark ability, makes the team be less worried about retreating.

The Spreading Influence is the key talent for him to be a solo healer or just be a healer overall, not only because of being capable of healing 3 allies at once, but the cards bringing more utility to his marks.

There's 3 important tips when playing as Corvus:
- You must be with someone to heal others across the map, the only time you can let it slide is when you're capturing the point and your entire team is around the enemy's spawn
- Your escape ability is very good and flexible, you can use it to re-position to high-ground, escape from flanks and preemptivelly activate to pretend you're dueling with the flank/dmg if you are big brain enough.
- Your healing has reduced cooldown when healing the marked ally, very important to heal tanks.

As for the cards:
Crushing expectations is a great card surprisingly, it may be only 15% max, but it is more consistent than cards from other supports, if you don't like this card, tone down the points for The Price of Salvation and/or Abyssal Shift cards.
Abyssal Shift card is important as it is your life-saver when you're caught off guard, can be used for dueling but it's not reccomended.
The Price of Salvation is pretty much mandatory especially when you're the only support on the team, all to healp yourself from some poke dmg.
Magistrate's Might goes well with Abyssal Shift because of flanks coming at you, can save you from a few shots.
Grand Design even after the huge nerf it is a important card to have, have at least 4-5 points into it because it is important especially early-game as your healing is not that frequent to heal everyone.

His ultimate is kind of bad by itself but combos well when used with other CC ultimates, all that forces the enemy to stay in the ultimate, Seris/Pip/Jenos/Skye/Bomb King are solid options.

Now for the items:
First pick, Chronos
Chronos: standard item, I could mention Haven but his healing cooldown is very important because those marked allies that you didn't directly healed receive quite little healing numbers, so you want frequency here, get it to at least chronos 2.

Second pick: Haven, Blast Shields, Resilience, Illuminate, Nimble, Cauterize
Haven: you need this eventually to survive against snipers and hitscan enemies overall, scales well with Abyssal Shift.
Blast Shields: Same as Haven but enemy has around 2 champions with splash dmg.
Resilience: you rarelly need this item because you mostly play passive as Corvus, still, if you see around 3 champions with CC talents, ultimates you may want this to not become an easy kill.
Illuminate: Sky/Sha Lin/Strix, if you see at least 2 of them or 1 of them is dominating your team, you may want this to shoot back at them.
Nimble: It's not that necessary unless you're playing other modes than payload, because your allies will be everywhere an sometimes...nowhere, helps in keeping up with them alongside with your teleport.
Cauterize: A nice second item because even though Corvus weapon deals little damage, it is a hitscan with fairly high ammo count to deny enemy's healing.

Third pick: any of the above, Master Riding
Master Riding: a great item to have for setup opening of the rounds, get back to action especially when pushing the payload, this becomes more important when you have a descent team.

Frouth pick: any that seems needed for you, depending of what you're facing with.
