Guide
Ash is a very unique case, where the cards are basically staples in every loadout, but all of the points on these cards are interchangeable. Adapt this build and place it where you feel most comfortable.
Indomitable (5): Probably Ash's most used card and the most well known. It's for good reason too, it's a very good sustain in both 1v1s and holding space. I like playing this at 5, for maximum sustain.
Gate-Crasher (3): Here we begin with the interchangeable card points. Gate-Crasher allows you to bring your Shoulder Bash quickly, making the most of Battering Ram. I feel 3 points into this to be a very comfortable sweetspot. Up it to 4 if you really want, but it means Vanguard gets a tad left out.
Heavy Metal (4): More HP equals more survavility, which allows you to dive more agressively and win 1v1s with more frequency. This makes your HP go up to 5,1k, which makes you tankier than 95% of champions in this game.
Vanguard (2): 2 is a neat little place for this card. 16% DR should not be slept on, but you can go overboard on this if you want.
Trebuchet (1): I think this is the best filler card for Ash, and I run it in every Ash deck. 2 ammo could be the difference between an enemy staying alive or not, and since you're popping your Siege Shield for holding space and 1v1s, this card has a lot of time to shine. Unlike the other cards, it's not really worth to put more points into this.
Another card you can use here is Siege Engine. It's also basically the only card you can swap Trebuchet for. Running Siege Engine at 1 or 2 is a good filler card, that allows you to get your shield more often.
