ItemShop:

Defence:
Resilience: (Situational)
Your ult will have CC immunity, but if you are struggling with heavy CC comp like Ash, Inara mostly, but combined with Bombking and Drogos knock back go for it.
Haven or BlastShield (Situational)
Depending on enemy carry pick. Cassie, Androxus, Lian, Talus (Haven) / Dredge, Evie, Drogos (BlastShield)

Utility:
Morale Boost (Always)
This entire deck is build around the Legendary Leviathan, so you want that up as soon as possible mid to late game. This will get you a lot of self sustain and point contesting potential.

Healing:
LifeRip (Always)
This will just add extra sustain while in ult but also for your ult build up faze and mid contesting. We will use our Shield and ShellSpin as main healing source but having extra heals while just firing is a bonus. You hit for 650 so at rank 2 it will heal you for 120+- per shot

Offence:
Cauterize (Always)
Makoa's dps or fire rate is to slow in my opinion to Shred shields, so i tend going for cauterize as this will help by picking of targets after hooks and in your aoe ult faze.

Mind Set:
As mentioned before we focusing on our ult and the potential to remain point contesting. Do not go all out by flanking or taking a to long off root that prevents your ult build up. Remain mid and keep constant pressure on tanks, even if they outheal you. Don't hook to initiate targets without letting your team know. Remember we got cauterize for this exact reason to call out our hook target and our dps to focus him down, otherwise use hook on escaping targets. Your ShellSpin can be used for extra heals and the time Ebb and Flow rank 2 activates it should of reached 50% cooldown naturally, so don't use ShellSpin at the end but mid fight or before reloading. ShellShield I mostly use for heals when low hp or to defend a low hp friendly. Choose your ult timing carefully, remember you heal fully so it can be used to remain mid contesting or save you in a group fight. This can also be used when multiple targets are low or at least one tank is, Ult up get the kill and then Chase the healer. You will receive 40% movement speed in your ult after first kill, so get that low hp champ and then Chase the squishy/low hp champions, but mostly the healer. Your extra movement speed will force their escape and that is when you hook.

ENJOY ;p
