Guide

OK, here's an all around deck for barik, that gets the best out of his strengths without focusing on ONE in particular (to avoid counters : bulldozer for full turret builds, wrecked for those moronic full Bowling Ball builds that only defend yourself and never your team...)
Remember this loadout is meant to be used with chronos, because...(You can write this down. On your arm. With a knife.) : EVERY FRONTLINE IN THE GAME EXCEPT TERMINUS AND KHAN IS MEANT FOR CHRONOS. (Plus cauterize or wrecker, of course.) Just ask yourself which class has the highest cooldown times and your math is done here.
First of all, turrets : Healing Station V is there because it's just THE BEST self healing ability for a tank. 225 HP/s at any second in the game for as long as you want is insane.
Then, we need to make sure you'll be able to enjoy that sweet healing and your turrets 50% DPS bonus (yes, 50%. Your blunderbuss deals 500 DPS, 2 turrets deal 240 more, do the math.) without having to use too many cards. Forged Alloy III card is the best option you have. The only other card you could put alone to help your turrets survive is the one that heals them, but with only 600HP, they could get one-shot by anybody and you'd be healing crushed bolts. And no heal and DPS bonus for you. So, just Forged Alloy III. It's enough, it does the job, especially with CHRONOS (Seriously. I'm NOT asking for your opinion on this one. Just buy it, you'll thank me later)
Next, Bowling Ball III. Now, Bowling Ball is excellent. The only problem is every idiot playing this game maxes this AND Failsafe out. So, let's be clear : Failsafe is CRAP. You'll be able to use your rocket boots twice in a row, yes, but it'll only happen once a week, IF your health drops below 1000HP without you dying, blah blah blah...crap. Crap for selfish guys who don't want to be focused and don't get their job as a tank. And about Bowling Ball, 1500 HP Would be good, except you're a TANK. Your barricade basically shouts "get wrecker !" to the enemy team ! You really want to give them another good reason to buy it ? No. 900hp is more than enough to deal with incoming damage and keep fighting, plus since you're using your rocket boots, you're already avoiding damage.
The last ones are pretty self-explanatory when you finally understand tanks (and especially barik) go with CHRONOS.
Red Streak II to get those rocket boots faster, same effect as Failsafe except it actually works all the time. (With chronos 2, one rocket boot every 8 seconds, more than enough, and more than some flanks actually.)
And One Man's Treasure II (no, not more. If you push your luck you'll regret it and you'll look like an idiot when you bien all your abilities and don't get à kill. II is perfect, believe it.) because you are the frontline who gets the most elims and it just RULES with chronos. More turrets (so more healing and more dps), more barricades, more mobility. You'll always have an ability available to stop your enemies and save your own life (i get 5 deaths MAX in a game with that loadout) and your team will love you so much they will start playing around you without even thinking about it. Have fun ! And remember : LAST MAN STANDING WINS !
