Guide
This Maeve deck is a deck that is to be used for close combat against oponents as it utilises Maeve's pounce. The deck is simply meant to keep you alive for a longer period of time, allowing you to deal more damage, and allowing you to survive or get away.
Shop items
This build is to be paired up with the following shop items:
- Haven - This item should be bought first when starting the game to help. This will add more resistance to the already resistant focused build, allowing you to take more direct shots, and blast shots. This is mostly for the card Persistence.
- Rejuvenate - This is an item that you can obtain after buying Haven in the first match. This item is to help healers heal you more, mainly for when you are versing a large amout of players at once when trying to capture the point, but can also be helpful in saving you as you try to escape a situation. Where the resistance will prevent too much damage from hurting you due to the chaos.
- Chronos - You can get this item if you would like, as it means you are able to do more pounches, which equal more damage, more heals from the pounces, and if you are in a tough situation, a lower cooldown to activate pounce to escape. However this item is not a must and you can always substitute it for another item of your choice, depending on the game's needs.
How to play
- Get close to an enemy somehow, either via flanking or any other means.
- If you are close enough, pounce at them to heal and deal damage, then hit them with the normal attack until you can pounce again. However, if they are dealing too much damage, you can at first just attack them with the normal attack, and then pounch at them when you are too low on health, as you will be healed by the Savagery card. If you are too far away, you can simply pounce towards, of course going upwards and not in a direct line towards them, to then pounce on them from above, or do the previous at which you attack them first before pouncing.
- After the initial fight, if you are being targetted by another player, you can escape using the pounce thanks to the cooldown and survive to escape due to the Persistence card and Haven being present, whilst a healer heals you with enough to get back in the fight soon thanks to the Rejuvenate shop item. However, you can also use Nine Lives to get your health up and then pounce on the player to get more health and deal damage as well. From this, you should have enough health to continue fighting, with some damage done to make the kill easier.
