Guide

This loadout is centered around increasing Prowl's utility and allowing Maeve to survive longer.

Streetrunner V: Increased prowl duration allows you to run longer. Pairs well with Chase and Walk it Off. Gives Maeve a way to close distances quicker or get away quickly.

Street Cred IV: Extra 200 base health allows Maeve to survive longer.

On Edge III: Base 3 second cooldown reduction on Nine Lives. Gives you more ability usage.

Walk it Off II: Aids Maeve's survivability. Gives Maeve a maximum of 600 health for the full duration of prowl.

Chase I: Filler card, but still useful, even at the lowest level. Adds a 10% speed bonus when using prowl, bringing it up to 160%.

Items:
Illuminate - Useful when fighting invisible enemies; especially Skye and Strix.
Resilience - Good if you are fighting CC heavy teamates.
Blast Shields - Not very useful for Maeve. She'll usually be able to dodge AoE attacks with no trouble. Only buy if you're fighting a Drogoz or BK with god-tier aim.
Haven - Best defense card for Maeve. Great insta-pick. Allows her to stay alive longer.
Master Riding - Very situational.
Morale Boost - Best utility item for Maeve. Good when with a coordinated team, or against enemies with strong ultimates with long activation times; BK, Inara, Ash, Furia, Tyra
Nimble - Good for the late game. Allows her to run faster without using Prowl. (Keep in mind, the nimble speed boost does not stack with Prowl or Chase I)
Chronos: Great card, but not really useful for Maeve. Costs a lot of credits that are better spent on other items.
Rejuvenate: Good for healers with high healing numbers; Seris, Ying; Furia
Veteran - Good when retreating from enemy fire, but situational.
Kill to Heal - Best healing item for Maeve. Coupled with her higher burst, you'll be getting the most out of the healing boost.
Life Rip - Great card, but not for Maeve. Her damage isn't high enough for that.
Bulldozer - Not very useful. Maeve can destroy deployables even without this card.
Cauterize - Best damage card for Maeve. Must have. Always buy this.
Wrecker - Only buy if fighting Khan, Fernando, Ruckus or Torvald.

General Tips:
- Get to know Maeve's knife arc. Maeve's weapon has no damage falloff, so you can potentially snipe enemies if your aim is good enough.
- Pounce is good for damage, but it is much better used for mobility.
- Maeve's pounce resets her double jump without her having to touch the ground.
- Combining the jump boost from prowl and the wall jump boost allows her to get much higher than usual.
- Maeve's ultimate is best used in these three situations.
1. Countering an enemy ult. Blinding the enemy while they are using their ultimate may cause them to completely waste it.
2. Disorganizing an enemy push. Ulting while the enemy is pushing can allow your team to pick them off while they are disrupted.
3. Giving your team space. Alternatively, using the ult while your team is on the defensive or low on health can give them the time they need to regroup.
