Guide
Sup folks, welcome to Ying guide, this one is rather flexible as you try to do damage but to keep the illusions up for healing still.
You rarelly should use shatter as even if going off support with this build, she can bring some good healing and shatter gets in the way of that, this includes self-healing, only use shatter when you know someone's about to die from it.
If you can't aim to proc the Focusing Lens talent, switch to Resonance talent, it is worse than the former but can sneak a few explosions that enemies didn't expected, especially tanks, though you may want to reduce a few points on the Carry On card with that talent.
As for cards:
Carry On is a very important card for Ying for 2 reasons, first is that it helps in healing allies as without the card you're forced to spam Illusion every time is off-cooldown, second reason being that said spamming illusions sometimes won't get you the best spot for illusion to heal everyone, you need some toleration to pick a good position for your clones.
Mesmerism card is to prevent getting into reload all of the time, you're still a healer so this cards helps in both dmg and healing.
Rewind car is just a fair filler, sometimes the enemy destroys the illusion you swapped with, this can save your life as the clone can heal you as well.
Squadron you need a few points into it because splash dmg can get in the way, if the enemy team is all hitscan you barelly need this card, as you can just add more points into:
Spring Bloom, you need this card so destroying illusions will barelly get in the way of your healing, 2 points into this card is the very minimum as rarelly someone is commited in destroying illusions.
Her ultimate is very usefull and should be used once engagement starts, there isn't much tips or secrets to it, if you see a teamfight, you pop this ultimate, if your team is smart, pop it once you see that 1 enemy died so you create a snowball effect.
For items:
First pick: chronos, morale boost, cauterize
Chronos: Standard item for supports, but for Ying this is fairly opitional, but not as Seris though, you can get around chronos 2 but I don't reccomend chronos 3 with her, as at that point you may want to survive or pick this next item:
Morale Boost: Ying's meta item, for solo support or just commited healer overall, this helps her a lot as the ultimate is very usefull, you do need to farm ultimate as you can with her.
Cauterize: If the enemy has 2 supports you may want this instead, without cauterize it'll take too long to kill someone, otherwise get it as second item
Second item: any mentioned above, Nimble, Haven, Blast Shields, Illuminate, Resilience
Nimble: she has no vertical mobility outside her teleport, so this item is usefull depending of the map, but it's not that much of a reccomended item if you're doing well for the first capture point.
Haven: as any oterh support, you need this eventually to survive around mid-late game, where cauterize will get in the way, get this especially if nearly all of enemy team is hitscan.
Blast Shields: same as Haven but it's 2+ splash dmg enemies.
Illuminate: Skye, Strix or Sha Lin, you're going to need this if there's 2 of them or at least 1 if he's becoming such a pain, you need it to shoot back at them.
Resilience: if there's around 2 hard CC that is stuns, silence, cripple, you will need this as they're sure to dive on you if you get hit.
Third item: Master Riding, Deft hands
Master Riding: great item for start of round especially that you need to put clones in good spots, important to come back to action especially when pushing the payload as well.
Deft Hands: very optional item as Mesmerism card already does a lot for you, but if most of the time you're facing frontlines then you need all of the dps.
Fourth item: Any that seems needed for the match, no much to say about that as you're on the very late-game, just don't die.
